Introduction to verxion

Learn what verxion is and how it helps you track workouts, nutrition, and progress through AI.

Welcome to verxion, the AI-native fitness platform. verxion gives you 354 MCP tools to track every aspect of your training and nutrition — all through natural conversation with ChatGPT, Claude, or any MCP-compatible agent.

What is verxion?

verxion is a fitness data platform built on the Model Context Protocol (MCP). Instead of a traditional mobile app, your AI assistant becomes your fitness interface. You talk to it, and it handles everything:

  • Log workouts — sets, reps, weight, RPE, advanced set types
  • Track nutrition — meals, macros, diet plans, supplements
  • Monitor progress — trends, personal records, execution scores
  • See the story — AI-generated narratives that recap what’s changed

How it works

  1. Create an account at verxion and get your MCP configuration token
  2. Connect your AI — paste the config into ChatGPT, Claude Desktop, or Claude Code
  3. Start talking — “Import my PPL routine”, “Log bench press 100kg x 8”, “How’s my week looking?”

Your AI already knows how to use every tool. No learning curve.

Key concepts

Routines & Programs

A routine is your weekly training plan — which exercises on which days, with target sets and reps. A program wraps multiple routines into a periodized training block with phases and deloads.

Sessions & Set Logs

When you train, you start a session from a routine day. Each exercise gets set logs — the actual weight, reps, and metadata you performed. verxion supports drop sets, supersets, giant sets, pyramids, rest-pause, and AMRAP.

Diet Plans & Meal Logs

A diet plan defines your daily macros and meals. Meal logs track what you actually ate. You can import foods from OpenFoodFacts, create custom foods, and track supplements and water.

MCP Tools

Every action in verxion is an MCP tool — a function your AI can call. There are 354 tools organized across training, nutrition, and analytics. You never need to remember tool names; just describe what you want.
